Riceville Fire Department

I have been a volunteer firefighter at the Riceville Fire Department for over five years now. Since I have been a volunteer there, I have made my mind up to eventually have a profession in the fire service. I have already taken classes for the fire department and plan on taking classes to receive my firefighter 1 and 2 classes and EMT.

I am wearing my dress blues for the fire department, I went to a funeral of our old chief, the chief that started my fire department.

Timming a Tree the Redneck Way

Some limbs needed to be cut off a tree in order to see our pond from our deck. Therefore, I climbed the tree with my tree stand and demolished the limbs with a hand saw.
